10th Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology (y4iT)

The Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology or "Y4iT" (Youth for IT) is an annual event hosted by UP ITTC and UP SITF in cooperation with the UP ITTC Student Volunteer Corps, JICA, PSITE, CSP, PCS, PSIA, GDAP, EITSC, HSF, and Cyberpress.

This year’s 10th Philippine Youth Congress on Information Technology (y4iT) was held last  September 10 to 15 at four different venues inside UP-Diliman. The congress brings  together students, faculty, IT practitioners and enthusiasts, government officials, national leaders, and prominent IT personalities from many parts of the country and the world to discuss and share knowledge about recent trends in IT. Organized by the UP System, UP Information Technology Training Center, and the UP System Information Technology Foundation, Inc., it has established itself as not just any annual IT convention, but as a brand that every college IT student recognizes. With over 100 speakers sharing their knowledge and experience on a wide array of IT topics, Y4iT continues to provide a venue for experiencing activities and witnessing talks that cover IT and IT-related topics, thus developing awareness and honing global competitiveness among IT practitioners and enthusiasts.
