This gathering was intended to give new perspective on the current trends, innovations and career opportunities in Information and Communications Technology. The congress is likewise a venue for discovering and evaluating the new technologies that will impact our lives. Latest topics in the world of communication and computing were lined up. Some of the topics discussed include Computer Vision, Learning Analytics, Affective Computing, Tools for Scientific Discovery, IT Education Benchmarking, Personalized Learning, and Reverse Engineering among others.
I would like to thank the organizers, the University of the Philippines Information Technology Training Center (UPITTC), UP System IT Foundation (UPSITF) and the Student Volunteer Corps (SVC), in cooperation with the Computing Society of the Philippines, the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Foundation Inc and others who invited me as one of the speakers and made this congress possible.
